"The Scottish Consortium for Learning Disability (SCLD) in partnership with The Action Group, ARC Scotland, the British Institute of Learning Disabilities and Glasgow Learning Disability Partnership are pleased to announce a new research opportunity funded by the Big Lottery Investing in Ideas fund.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced researcher to find out about support services for people with learning disabilities and their families from black and minority ethnic (BME) communities. We want also to identify good practice in working alongside people from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds.

Interested? Then please send us your CV and a supporting statement (maximum 500 words) outlining why you are suitable and how you would undertake this research. Notes of interest must be sent by email - the closing date is 1st September. Possible interview dates are 10th & 15th September.
