Jim Watt
Chief Executive, Horizon Housing Association.

Jim commenced his career in local authority planning in 1970 with Lanarkshire County Council and subsequently worked with Glasgow Corporation, Strathclyde Regional Council and Motherwell District Council.

Jim graduated from Glasgow School of Art with a Degree in Town Planning in 1978.

In 1986, Jim was appointed as the first Chief Executive of Springburn and Possilpark Housing Association. In August 1988 appointed Chief Executive of Horizon Housing Association (formerly Scottish Spastics Housing Association).

Horizon Housing Association is the leading provider of integrated housing opportunities for disabled people.

Jim is currently a Board Member and former Chairman of the Thistle Foundation, a major Scottish charity. He is also a former member of the Children's Panel.
